Brand Nubian "Fire in the Hole" (Vinyl 2XLP) |

Coming from the same conscious vein of De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian returns with their album, Fire in the Hole. Those that were fans of Brand Nubian in the 1990s will especially like this album, as the group retains the style they’ve used in their heyday for this album. Still, despite their well developed style, the album remains relevant today. Songs like "Still Living in the Ghetto" and "Soldier's Story" reflect upon the pain and struggles of their experiences, while "Young Son" lays down some life lessons for the youth. With Fire in the Hole, Brand Nubian give meaning to the old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
